{Inspired} Living...

It's been very hot here in Southern California, as with the rest of the country right now.  A cool drink and a place to lounge sounds nice. Really nice. One Kings Lane blog has featured both of these...

{PEACH-POMEGRANATE TEA COCKTAIL}

 Serves 4
Ingredients:
  • 6 ounces vodka
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 2 peaches, peeled and cut into 8 wedges each
  • 2 cups white tea, chilled (We used Mighty Leaf White Orchard which has hints of peach and melon)
  • Pomegranate seeds, for garnish
1. Using a liquid measuring cup, pour 1.5 ounces vodka and 2 ounces pomegranate juice into a cocktail shaker. Add in 4 peach wedges. Scoop in ice to fill the shaker 3/4 full; cover and shake vigorously.
2. Fill a small glass with crushed ice. Add vodka mixture and top with 1/2 cup chilled tea. Note: To quick-chill tea, pour brewed tea into a bowl and place in an ice-water bath until cold. Stir and repeat process to make 4 cocktails. Garnish each glass with pomegranate seeds.

*Serve in Moroccan tea glasses* ~ One Kings Lane has a nice selection!

We are in love with the solarium in actress Katie Tarses' spanish style hacienda in the Hollywood Hills.  The tropical plants and lots of light make it even more lovely and the kilim rugs and kilim pillows are fabulous!  Check out more of this great space on the One Kings Lane blog ~  A blog and site that we are loving!
